Joy Health and Research Centre is an organisation aimed at promoting resilience and emotional life skills in individuals, families and school communities. Practitioners at Joy HRC engage in research and also provide individual, family and group sessions that focus on coping with anxiety, depression, stressful situations, trauma, addictions, eating disorders and other mental health concerns.
We also offer assessments and treatment for mental disorders and provide supportive counselling and behaviour intervention for clients dealing with autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), disruptive behaviour concerns and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Consultation and training programs that focus on prevention and early intervention for children, youth and adults are also available to professionals who work in health, educational and social service settings.
If you are an organization and would like to have Kafui Sawyer, our director, speak at an event on mental health literacy and prevention programs, please send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org .
